President John Dramani Mahama has visited former President John Agyekum Kufuor at his private residence to check on his well-being and discuss national and international affairs.
Mahama disclosed the visit in a social media post, saying he stopped by Kufuor’s residence on Monday afternoon.
“I passed by the residence of President JA Kufuor this afternoon to check on him and find out how he’s doing and also discuss some national and international issues,” he wrote.
Photographs accompanying the post showed the two former political rivals smiling as they sat together and engaged in conversation.
The meeting brought together two former presidents who have played leading roles in Ghana’s political history.
