Lawyers for Ghanaian actress and fashion personality Nana Akua Addo have called on media organisations and the public to stop publishing and sharing videos linked to an alleged domestic dispute involving the actress and her family.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, Nkrabeah & Associates said their attention had been drawn to what they described as “several harrowing videos” circulating across social media platforms.

The lawyers said the footage was shared without Nana Akua Addo’s knowledge or consent and described its continued circulation as a violation of the privacy of their client and her children, who are minors.

They particularly appealed to media houses and members of the public to refrain from publishing, reposting or amplifying material that allegedly depicts abuse involving a minor.

According to the legal team, the children have already been exposed to considerable emotional distress, and further distribution of the videos could worsen the situation.

The lawyers also disclosed that the matter involving Nana Akua Addo and her husband, Harold Norman, is currently before the appropriate authorities and is therefore sub judice.

They commended the Ghana Police Service for its intervention and expressed confidence in the ability of the relevant institutions to address the issues surrounding the case.

The legal team said Nana Akua Addo would speak on the matter at an appropriate time but urged the public and media to respect the family’s privacy while investigations and legal proceedings continue.
