Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has been battling health challenges that have affected her ability to move freely for several months. She said this in a video to celebrate her 25th birthday.
The Nollywood star made the disclosure in a birthday video posted on Instagram on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in which she appeared in a wheelchair while sspeaking about her period away from the public eye.
Regina Daniels explained that what initially appeared to be a minor health issue gradually worsened, leaving her struggling with severe pain and limited mobility.
“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this,” she said.
According to the actress, her condition deteriorated after she hosted a Children’s Day carnival, which she identified as her last major public gathering.
She disclosed that the months that followed involved repeated medical tests as she sought answers to her condition.
Describing the severity of the pain, Daniels said her ability to walk had become unpredictable.
“Sometimes I find myself walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move,” she said.
Despite the difficulties, the actress expressed gratitude to God and indicated that she had experienced encouraging developments in her recovery. She did not disclose her specific diagnosis or the treatment she is receiving.
